South Africa is no exception. SIM considers it a great privilege and a great responsibility to be serving in mission in South Africa. To accomplish our mission, SIM brings together many different missionaries from many different places, with many different gifts — but one unified purpose.
Today, SIM is at work throughout South Africa, joining hands with the Church, to see the Gospel transforming lives in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Currently, 30 workers are serving with SIM in South Africa, from places as far away as Australia and America, South Korea and Taiwan, England and Brazil — but also from places as close as Port Elizabeth and Umzinto.

Typically, a prospective worker contacts the nearest SIM office. That office then works with SIM offices around the world to find the best opportunity for the worker. SIM equips, supports, and encourages you throughout the journey.

SIM South Africa doesn't only receive workers into South Africa — we also send South Africans out to serve among the nations. If you've sensed a call beyond our borders, SIM partners with receiving entities around the world to help place you where your gifts are needed most.
Wherever you go, SIM equips, supports, and encourages you throughout the journey — walking alongside you from your first enquiry to your placement on the field.
